A lot more ground can be pegged including Little Dog Leg Creek and 2 kilometres of the Palmer River which has good alluvial gold. This ground was tested by Dominion Mining back in 1981 and 26 samples taken from dog leg creek 1 and 2 returned a result of 1.2 grams of gold per loose cubic meter. Gold is now worth over $2200 + per ounce and rising.
